I have loved crystals and stones for as long as I can remember. As a child, I was always mesmerized by the colors and patterns, not yet understanding how much I was drawn to, and feeling, their healing energies.

My journey with Purple Phoenix Jewelry began from a deep, inner space of healing. Chronic pain and illness sent me on a quest to find something to calm my mind and my spirit. I signed up for a mala making class and began researching about crystals I was drawn to and how to create my own mantra. As I strung each bead, I fell in love! It was very meditative, incredibly healing, and it gave me a new way to express my love of crystals and stones. I believe this is why so many of my customers return and say my pieces just “feel different” and comment about the peace they feel while wearing them.

Just as with my first mala, each creation is, in itself, a meditation. I am careful when working with your jewelry. My work space is cleared and intention is set so that every bead is strung with clear and positive energy. Creating meditation malas and knotted necklaces are my favorite as tying the knots really bring me into a meditative state and prayers and blessings are whispered into each one. I use love and Reiki energy to fill every piece as it’s being created. I am so grateful for the opportunity to create these beauties of healing, of love, and of joy.

Over the 6 years since Purple Phoenix began, I have recieved my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training and all of my Reiki certifications, including my Master / Teacher certification. I have watched my little business grow and I am forever grateful for family and friends who encouraged me to explore my creative side and supported me while searching for my path, and to the businesses and events who have allowed me space to meet and help people in their journey. I love connecting with people through my work and thoroughly enjoy watching them connect with their jewelry.
